Advancement Data & Reporting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrator and institutional expert for Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge
• Maintain accurate constituent, alumni, donor, and gift records within the system
• Perform gift processing, queries, report writing, and data maintenance using import/export tools
• Conduct routine data audits, de-duplication, and quality assurance reviews to ensure data integrity
• Produce regular and ad hoc reports for Advancement leadership, the President’s Office, and stakeholders
• Support reporting for annual giving, major gifts, alumni participation, and grants
• Collaborate with University Finance on gift reconciliation and fiscal compliance
• Configure system security, user permissions, and workflows in alignment with university policy and data privacy standards
• Train Institutional Advancement staff on Raiser’s Edge functionality and data entry standards
• Provide operational support to development officers and alumni relations staff

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Two years of hands-on experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, including queries, exports, and reports
• Experience supporting fundraising, advancement, or alumni operations
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential donor information with discretion
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• Five years of hands-on experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge
• Relevant professional credentials or certifications in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge or NXT
