About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated communication plans to support fundraising, donor stewardship, and alumni engagement across email, text, direct mail, web, and social media.
- Produce compelling donor-facing content including appeal letters, impact stories, campaign emails, and stewardship reports.
- Manage an annual advancement communications calendar to ensure timely messaging across all channels.
- Build and maintain segmented donor audiences to deliver targeted, relevant messaging.
- Serve as the primary liaison between University Advancement and the Marketing Division to ensure brand alignment.
- Lead the production of meaningful stewardship communications, such as personalized thank-you letters and impact updates.
- Monitor and report on the performance of communication initiatives using data to improve campaign effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, journalism, English, public relations, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of professional experience in communications, marketing, or content creation.
- Experience managing multi-channel communication campaigns with a focus on brand consistency.
- Experience working with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, or content management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt voice and tone for diverse audiences.
