Advanced Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute the design and development of software and system requirements for the ANTHEM product line
• Drive and implement product goals and objectives within the Next Generation Avionics (NGA) Center of Excellence
• Provide technical expertise in embedded requirements, architecture, development, and testing
• Lead or assist in FCI processes, SDR, PDR, and verification & validation activities
• Drive software innovation and identify automation opportunities to improve team efficiency
• Provide investigation support for development issues and participate in technical decision-making
• Collaborate with geographically distributed team members and customers to influence software design directions

Requirements

• B.E. or B.Tech degree
• Strong software engineering expertise with deep knowledge of software design, architecture, integration, and testing
• Proven experience in the Aerospace domain and Datalink functionality
• Experience in software development and qualification following DO-178C standards
• Proficiency with JIRA and Bitbucket
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo and Octopus
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and networking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile development processes and Agile tools
• Knowledge of IBM Rational DOORS NG Requirements Management tool
• Experience with functional decomposition
• Familiarity with SAMIOC/PCT and working across various development and test environments
• Background in managing large, complicated software programs
