Advanced Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement build platforms, software build generation, and delivery processes for Aero programs.
• Lead the exploration and standardization of DevSecOps tools and technologies to strengthen systems.
• Manage software build deliverables through various configuration management systems including Bitbucket, ClearCase, and Bamboo.
• Provide technical direction to a team of system integrators and coordinate technical teams of 8-10 people.
• Perform software component, module, and system integration activities.
• Utilize GenAI to automate day-to-day tasks and drive innovation through patents and white papers.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies including standups, grooming, estimation, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• BE/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience in application/tool development and DevOps.
• Proven experience working within the Aerospace industry.
• Expertise in scripting languages including Python, PowerShell, and Batch.
• Strong proficiency with Bitbucket, ClearCase, ClearQuest, and Bamboo.
• Hands-on experience with static analysis and coding standard tools such as LDRA, Coverity, or SonarQube.
• Proficiency in GNU make and Visual Studio project creation.
• Deep understanding of the entire configuration management, build, and release cycle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Tableau for data visualization.
• Experience with Jenkins and GitHub.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, test-driven environment.
