Advanced Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the project team lead for the Quality and Reliability function within cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Marketing to translate customer needs into product requirements and specifications.
• Develop and execute test procedures to validate product specifications and ensure reliability readiness.
• Conduct reliability analyses using Weibull, Minitab, and other statistical methods to evaluate performance.
• Lead risk assessments (Design and Manufacturing) and root cause analyses (5-Whys, Fishbone) during the development cycle.
• Coordinate quality planning activities including auditing, inspection, and control plans.
• Assess manufacturing and supplier process capability and measurement system stability through gauge studies and capability analyses.
• Collaborate with global manufacturing and supplier representatives to ensure operational readiness for new product launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical, manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
• 2+ years of experience in Advanced Quality, Quality Engineering, or Reliability Engineering.
• Proficiency with statistical tools such as Minitab and ReliaSoft.
• Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks early in development.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, including proficiency in delivering presentations.
• Ability to travel 20% for both domestic and international assignments.
