Advanced Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide quality governance across development and launch phases to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Assess project quality readiness at key milestones including design freeze, validation completion, and production launch.
• Review design assumptions and validation results to ensure robustness and mitigate technical risks.
• Oversee the identification and management of special characteristics across design, validation, and manufacturing.
• Ensure the effectiveness of FMEA processes and lead lessons learned activities to drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and support PPAP/PPA activities and ensure documentation accuracy for customer approval.
• Act as the quality escalation point for customers and lead structured problem-solving processes such as 8D.

Requirements

• Proven experience in quality engineering, preferably within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Strong knowledge of core quality tools including FMEA, PPAP, 8D, and APQP.
• Experience in project-based work, specifically New Product Introduction (NPI) or product launches.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify risks and make quality-driven decisions.
• Excellent customer communication and escalation management skills.
• Fluency in English and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international environments.
