About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor initial sampling processes in close collaboration with relevant interfaces
  • Evaluate and approve initial sample inspection reports from suppliers and track corrective actions
  • Ensure comprehensive inspection planning by defining methods, intervals, and statistical evaluations
  • Provide comprehensive support and consulting to suppliers on all quality-related issues
  • Manage complaints independently using quality management methods such as 8D, Ishikawa, and 5-Why
  • Support the preparation and execution of internal and external audits
  • Optimize procedures and work instructions to ensure product and process quality according to international standards
  • Lead and manage projects focused on the continuous improvement of products and processes

Requirements

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Extensive practical experience with AS/EN 9100 aerospace standards and approval processes
  • Several years of professional experience in quality management within an industrial environment
  • Proficiency in common quality management methods and tools
  • Knowledge of requirements from aerospace manufacturers such as Boeing or Airbus
  • Certified Auditor for ISO 9100 or IATF16949
  • Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
  • Structured, precise, and independent working style
