About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor initial sampling processes and quality management within the aerospace sector
- Evaluate and approve initial sample inspection reports from suppliers and track corrective actions
- Establish comprehensive testing plans, including methods, intervals, and statistical evaluations
- Provide expert consultation and support to suppliers regarding all quality-related matters
- Manage complaints independently using quality management methods such as 8D, Ishikawa, and 5-Why
- Support the preparation and execution of internal and external audits
- Optimize procedures and work instructions to ensure product and process quality according to international standards
- Lead projects focused on the continuous improvement of products and processes
Requirements
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Extensive practical experience with AS/EN 9100 aerospace standards and approval processes
- Proven professional experience in quality management within an industrial environment
- Proficiency in common quality management methods and tools
- Knowledge of requirements from aerospace manufacturers such as Boeing or Airbus
- Certified Auditor for ISO 9100 or IATF16949
- Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
- Highly structured, precise, and independent working style
