About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee medical staff at a DOS/DOS healthcare clinic
  • Collaborate with on-site physicians, other APPs, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in the assessment and stabilization of patients requiring urgent or emergent care
  • Provide comprehensive primary and continuing care, including health promotion and disease prevention
  • Manage simple chronic conditions through intermittent monitoring
  • Coordinate with medical evacuation teams for patients requiring care beyond clinic capabilities
  • Participate in MASCAL exercises
  • Maintain compliance with project site procedures and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Full unrestricted U.S. State Licensure, Certification, or Registration
  • Certified in BLS and ACLS or equivalency
  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • NCCPA certification (for PAs) or AANP/ANCC certification (for NPs)
  • Minimum 5 years of recent clinical experience, including 6 months within the last year
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card
  • Valid US Passport with at least 18 months validity
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (MRPT)
  • Ability to relocate to Iraq for the duration of the project

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on a military site as a government subcontractor or prime contractor
