About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of Outreach Family Support Workers delivering Early Help and home-based interventions
  • Provide reflective case supervision to promote effective decision-making and professional development
  • Ensure families receive coordinated support through multi-agency partnership working
  • Maintain high standards of practice, assessments, interventions, and recording in line with statutory guidance
  • Provide practice leadership and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement activities

Requirements

  • Social Work England registration
  • Post-qualified experience within children’s services
  • Degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work
  • Experience of supervising or mentoring practitioners
  • Strong knowledge of Early Help, safeguarding, and multi-agency working
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving licence
