About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in social work and social care within the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) and across the division
- Carry a reduced caseload to allow for staff supervision, professional development support, and safeguarding oversight
- Lead on adult and child safeguarding, overseeing s.42 enquiries and chairing planning meetings
- Act as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) on a rota basis
- Support the Team Manager in service delivery and promoting high standards of practice
Requirements
- SWE registration
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
- Post-qualified experience
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Full UK license
