About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead on complex child protection cases, offering expert guidance and oversight
- Support and mentor less experienced social workers, promoting reflective practice and continuous improvement
- Undertake statutory assessments, care planning, and interventions in line with legislation and Bradford MBC procedures
- Chair multi-agency meetings and contribute to strategy discussions and case conferences
- Ensure the voice of the child is central to all planning and decision-making
- Maintain high-quality case records and reports
- Promote a culture of learning and excellence within the team
Requirements
- Social Work England registration
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- Substantial post-qualified experience in child protection
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work
