About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of children and families requiring statutory intervention, including CIN, CP, and PLO cases
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop outcome-focused plans to safeguard children
  • Lead and participate in multi-agency meetings, including child protection conferences and core groups
  • Prepare high-quality reports for court and other statutory processes
  • Conduct regular home visits and direct work with children to assess risk and monitor progress
  • Work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to deliver coordinated interventions
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records

Requirements

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
