About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children and families requiring statutory intervention, including CIN, CP, and PLO cases
- Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop outcome-focused plans to safeguard children
- Lead and participate in multi-agency meetings, including child protection conferences and core groups
- Prepare high-quality reports for court and other statutory processes
- Conduct regular home visits and direct work with children to assess risk and monitor progress
- Work collaboratively with families and partner agencies to deliver coordinated interventions
- Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records
Requirements
- Social Work England registration
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
