Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary, acute, urgent, and occupational health care to covered employees
• Perform and interpret diagnostic studies including phlebotomy and 12-lead EKG
• Manage chronic disease conditions such as hypertension and diabetes
• Conduct occupational health evaluations and fitness-for-duty assessments
• Perform minor procedures including suturing
• Provide telemedicine cross-coverage for other clinic sites as needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted APRN or PA license in Pennsylvania
• Active DEA registration with prescriptive authority
• National certification (FNP or AGPCNP for NPs; NCCPA for PAs)
• Competency in phlebotomy and 12-lead EKG acquisition
• Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to live within a reasonable commuting distance of West Alexander, PA

Preferred Qualifications

• Suturing and minor wound management experience
• Occupational health or industrial medicine experience
• DOT Medical Examiner certification
• Experience in rural or remote healthcare settings
