Advanced Practice Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, specialized nursing care for patients
• Offer consultation, instruction, and training
• Plan and conduct case discussions and evaluate patient care processes
• Lead work and project groups
• Develop concepts and implement evidence-based nursing interventions
• Mentor and support nursing students
• Participate in training and further education
• Ensure quality through audits and active participation in nursing development
• Advise nursing management

Requirements

• Completed training as a nursing specialist (Pflegefachkraft)
• Completed university degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in nursing science, Advanced Practice Nursing, or a comparable field, or currently pursuing such a degree
