Advanced Practice Clinician - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide quality health care services including exams, diagnosis, treatment, education, and counseling in accordance with medical standards and guidelines.
• Assess gynecological and family planning needs, including ordering, interpreting, and recording results of clinical tests.
• Perform physical examinations with emphasis on the reproductive system, including breast exams, pelvic exams, and cancer screening.
• Prescribe medications and make recommendations for treatments, including birth control.
• Secure complete health histories and record findings accurately and succinctly.
• Serve as a medical resource for other licensed and non-licensed staff and provide clinical leadership.
• Provide relevant health instruction regarding family planning, nutrition, and sexual health.

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Louisiana.
• 1–3 years of provider experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Epic EMR.
• Bilingual fluency.

Benefits

• Salary range of $114,000 - $119,000 per year.
• 37.5 hour work week.
• 13 paid holidays per year.
