Advanced Practice Clinician (NP/CNM/PA) - Float

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient-centered sexual and reproductive healthcare to patients of all genders
• Conduct comprehensive medical history interviews and perform physical exams with a focus on the reproductive system
• Assess patient health status and prescribe appropriate contraceptive methods and GYN treatments per protocols
• Provide abortion counseling, follow-up care, and education regarding pregnancy options
• Counsel and educate patients on all FDA-approved methods of birth control and general reproductive health
• Accurately code for medical services to support the organization’s revenue cycle
• Utilize EHR systems (EPIC) for accurate documentation and optimal patient outcomes
• Refer patients to physicians or social services as appropriate following medical protocols

Requirements

• Master's degree and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), or Physician Assistant (PA) program
• Broad-based clinical GYN knowledge and skills
• Excellent counseling and teaching skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and with sensitivity to a broad range of people
• Flexibility and willingness to travel to various New Hampshire sites as a floating practitioner
