About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle risk-based inspection (RBI) implementation and stewardship
- Perform advanced integrity assessments including brittle fracture, flexibility analysis, and corrosion evaluations
- Develop and manage fit-for-purpose risk-based strategies
- Conduct criticality assessments and consequence/complexity ratings
- Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and bad actor elimination
- Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for service providers and internal teams
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in technical development
- Drive adoption of digital tools and analytics for process improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, fertilizer, or LNG industries
- Deep expertise in industry codes and standards such as API 580, API 571, ASME Sec VIII, PCC-2, API 510, API 570, and ASME B31.3
- Proven experience in developing and approving repair plans for fixed equipment
- Proficiency in engineering tools and ERP systems including PV Elite, Caesar II, APM, or SAP
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
