Advanced Manufacturing Technician - Additive

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor SLS (e.g., EOS P110) and EBM (e.g., Arcam EBM Q10plus) powder-bed fusion systems
• Prepare and verify build files using EOSPRINT or equivalent software
• Perform powder handling, including sieving, blending, material refresh, and recovery/recycling procedures
• Conduct depowdering, post-processing, and machine setup including vacuum system checks and beam calibration
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and surface quality using inspection tools
• Maintain accurate build logs, material traceability, and documentation for FDA and ISO 13485 compliance
• Provide regular updates on Daily Management boards for KPIs and implement process improvements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Proficiency with inspection tools
• Strong documentation skills within regulated manufacturing environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SLS and/or EBM systems
• Experience handling metal powders, specifically titanium alloys
• Understanding of powder-bed fusion process parameters
• Experience with inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
