About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive alignment and execution of Advanced Manufacturing (AdvM) programs to ensure mission success.
- Advise senior leadership on policy and legislative changes based on program performance.
- Lead coordination across Department of Defense (DoD) organizations to synchronize deliverables and accelerate technology adoption.
- Represent the company in joint working groups, providing technical expertise to influence enterprise-level decisions.
- Develop and integrate qualification and certification roadmaps for AdvM processes.
- Craft high-impact briefs and reports for senior officers and executives.
- Mentor junior team members and manage multiple complex projects with precision.
- Communicate AdvM initiatives to DoD and industry stakeholders to foster collaboration.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 10+ years of experience in managing AdvM programs or working with AdvM techniques (e.g., additive, subtractive).
- Proven ability to apply engineering principles to resolve system-level issues.
- Strong stakeholder collaboration skills, combining technical analysis with business acumen.
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis to link business strategy to performance.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- An active and maintained "SECRET" security clearance.
- Advanced degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Expertise in cybersecurity, intellectual property, or business process reengineering as they relate to manufacturing.
- Experience in materials characterization, testing methods, and failure analysis.
- Knowledge of DoD logistics and maintenance systems.
