Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead assembly planning activities in Hangzhou, including pre-planning conceptualization and capital investment analyses
• Manage equipment vendor selection, specification development, and installation/commissioning of assembly lines
• Take responsibility for all production KPIs related to assembly processes and sequences from planning through final acceptance
• Develop capital models for equipment cost estimation and analyze cost differences between new investments and changeovers
• Conduct and lead critical planning activities such as DFM, P-FMEA, and cycle time calculations during the project phase
• Perform vendor assessments through on-site visits and performance analyses to support selection initiatives
• Ensure successful equipment installation and implementation for pre-series and launch management projects

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience within a Tier-1/2 Supplier or OEM environment
• 3+ years of experience in project supervision, specifically in industrialization, assembly line engineering, or launch management
• Technical knowledge of assembly processes such as tightening, pressing, glueing, or laser marking
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software, specifically CREO and AutoCAD
