Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and implement world-class manufacturing processes for automotive electric steering systems from concept through serial production.
• Support plant launches for new products, including layout design, prototyping, and capacity verification.
• Develop technical specifications for new equipment and tooling in collaboration with quality, maintenance, and purchasing teams.
• Prepare customer quotes including capital, tooling, labor, and launch costs.
• Create and manage Application PFMEA documentation and conduct risk assessments for new products and processes.
• Track machine building progress and support technical availability, cycle time, and quality metrics.
• Assist in the handover from Manufacturing Engineering to plant operations, including machine testing and creating process blueprints.

Requirements

• Engineering Degree.
• 5 years of experience in industrialization or process engineering.
• Strong PLC experience.
• Proficiency with Core Tools (FMEA, Control Plan, APQP, SPC).
• Knowledge of project management and problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of assembly manufacturing processes such as robot handling, cobots, load cells, cameras, EOLT, and traceability.
