About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee multiple projects focused on product transfers, new product introduction (NPDI) programs, and process improvements for Reynosa operations.
- Develop and implement manufacturing plans for assigned new products in alignment with product roadmaps.
- Provide direct support for plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development programs.
- Identify, justify, and commission advanced manufacturing technologies, equipment, and capital projects to support growth and technical capacity.
- Manage End of Line testing equipment, parameters, scripts, and associated capital expenditures.
- Execute Manufacturing Readiness Checklists and deliverables within the NPDI process.
- Lead manufacturing prototype builds and collaborate with Design Engineering on engineering prototype builds.
- Implement best manufacturing practices and provide multi-site manufacturing engineering support.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), Industrial Engineering (IE), or Business Operations Management.
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Extensive knowledge of formalized Advanced and Lean Manufacturing applications.
- Proven experience in New Product Development (NPD) and Product Transfers.
- Strong project management, technical, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead teams in a transformational environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- MS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or an MBA.
- 5+ years of Advanced Manufacturing experience.
- Formal Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma training or certifications.
