Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the industrialization of automotive lighting products (Headlamps or Tail lamps) from project award to start of production.
• Collaborate with CAD designers and R&D to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and ease of assembly.
• Develop equipment specifications following safety, ergonomic, and process rules.
• Manage equipment builders during the design, manufacturing, and debugging phases to ensure quality and adherence to budget and timing.
• Lead equipment and tooling validation at the builder site to meet requirements and PFMEA standards.
• Validate equipment on-site, lead process audits, and develop machine capability settings.
• Train manufacturing teams, including operators, technicians, and engineers, on new equipment.
• Achieve program KPIs during full production runs, including cycle time, headcount, and downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in embedded processes and/or assembly.
• Experience in the automotive industry or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of the overall equipment development process, from specification through industrialization and validation.
