Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production Readiness Reviews and own the design package as products transition from prototype to full-scale manufacturing
• Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) improvements to reduce cost and improve yield
• Maintain and evolve the Bill of Materials (BOM) and resolve supply chain risks
• Establish and maintain quality control processes and inspection protocols
• Manage regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., FCC, CE, RoHS, UL)
• Serve as the long-term technical owner for released products and sustaining engineering
• Collaborate with hardware design, firmware, and operations teams

Requirements

• Engineering or equivalent degree
• 2+ years experience in a hardware production environment

Preferred Qualifications

• FPV or drone experience
• Solidworks
• KiCAD or Altium
