Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Review and disposition of non-conforming materials from internal and external sources
• Leverage disposition data to identify trends and reduce defects or scrap
• Support root cause-corrective action investigation activities
• Evaluate manufacturing processes through analysis of product design, fabrication, and assembly
• Document manufacturing requirements and prepare work instructions
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and determine manufacturing sequences
• Identify opportunities to reduce bottlenecks and increase throughput
• Prepare and present product and process reports to teams and customers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (STEM)
• 3-5 years of professional experience
• U.S. citizenship, permanent resident, or asylum/refugee status required

Preferred Qualifications

• Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering experience
• Knowledge of aerospace industry products and regulatory requirements
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals
• Familiarity with aerospace power generation and AC/DC electric motors
• Experience with time studies and verification of builds (VOB)
• Experience with workstation design, 5S, and cell organization
• Proficiency in build/assembly tooling design
