Advanced Manufacturing Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes and procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and product quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify manufacturing challenges and develop effective solutions
• Apply engineering principles to solve production challenges and support the adoption of innovative manufacturing techniques

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline (STEM)
• Experience or internships in manufacturing engineering or related fields
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with manufacturing technologies such as automation and robotics
• Proficiency with engineering software tools and data analysis techniques
• US Citizenship required due to contractual requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical or Industrial Engineering)
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of emerging manufacturing technologies and industry best practices
