Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes and procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and product quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify manufacturing challenges and develop effective solutions
- Apply engineering principles to solve production challenges and support the adoption of innovative manufacturing techniques
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline (STEM)
- Experience or internships in manufacturing engineering or related fields
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with manufacturing technologies such as automation and robotics
- Proficiency with engineering software tools and data analysis techniques
- US Citizenship required due to contractual requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical or Industrial Engineering)
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of emerging manufacturing technologies and industry best practices
