Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own daily production execution and resolve issues on the production floor
• Lead development and continuous improvement of machining, automated assembly, and inspection work centers
• Collaborate on CNC programming for 3-axis, 3+2, and 5-axis mills using Siemens NX CAM
• Drive design-for-manufacturing (DFM) conversations to improve part manufacturability
• Develop innovative fixturing strategies for complex additive manufactured geometries
• Analyze production data to identify trends and implement corrective actions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in aerospace or defense industries
• Hands-on experience with additive manufacturing, robotics, coatings, and inspection
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as Siemens NX or AutoCAD
• Advanced knowledge of CNC machining, GD&T, tooling, and metrology
• Ability to lawfully access information subject to US export controls

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or aerospace engineering
• Experience with robotic machining systems and calibration methodologies
• Experience with manufacturing automation in automotive or aerospace environments
