Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Dimensional

Responsibilities

• Manage Dimensional Engineering deliverables including project planning and execution
• Oversee Engineering Service Supplier performance
• Coordinate datums, tooling support locations, and assembly sequence development
• Perform variation analysis review and validation of design concepts
• Provide GD&T specification recommendations to Vehicle Engineers
• Support product prototype activities including part and assembly dimensional buy-off
• Execute slow build and match build planning
• Drive dimensional issue resolution during Design, Engineering, and build phases

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Dimensional Engineering strategies and variation analysis modeling
• Mastery of the ASME Y14.5-2009 standard
• Experience with at least 3 vehicle development cycles
• Significant working knowledge of part manufacturing and assembly processes
• Proficiency in Catia, 3DCS, and MS Office
• Ability to travel internationally to support program objectives
• Strong communication skills for program status and issue resolution
