Advanced Gas Treating Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to manufacturing sites to improve safety, reliability, and margin capture
• Lead the development and deployment of new technologies to address business needs
• Support the implementation of improvement projects at existing manufacturing sites
• Participate in internal technical communities to share knowledge across the organization
• Identify cross-functional business improvement opportunities and optimize work processes
• Mentor early-career and mid-career professionals to support their technical development
• Demonstrate technical authority and influence within the gas treating discipline

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
• 10-15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, or Refining industry
• Minimum 10 years of specialization in Gas Treating Units, Sulfur Recovery Plants, Amine, or Sour Water Systems (SWS)
• Proficiency in unit operation, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Experience in process modelling and equipment design (Tower/Drum/Reactor selection)
• Experience in project development from early screening through commissioning
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in multi-cultural global teams
• Willingness to travel internationally approximately 10% of the time
