Advanced EMT- AEMT

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility through medical history interviews, physical examinations, and blood testing reviews
• Manage donor adverse events and medical emergencies according to established SOPs
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable findings in coordination with the Center Physician
• Support center operations by following guidance from BioLife Medical Affairs and EHS protocols
• Manage employee incidents and support vaccination programs as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current EMT-Paramedic license or certification in the state of assignment
• Current CPR and AED certification
• Basic IV therapy certification meeting state requirements
• Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting
