Advanced Embedded Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop FMS software, specifically FIDO, IO SW/Interfaces (AFDX, A429), and Thunderbolt Platform Adoption for the Airbus nFMS program.
• Own the full software lifecycle including requirements, design, coding, and testing for FIDO and IO software components.
• Drive software architecture innovation to increase reusability and reduce program costs.
• Develop high-fidelity prototypes to support next-generation product evolution and risk avoidance.
• Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to contribute to Basis of Estimates (BOE) and quotation estimates.
• Mentor and coach team members to build sustained competencies and technical leadership within the organization.
• Utilize Agile methodologies and DevOps/CI/CD practices in daily development workflows.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in design, product development, software, and system integration.
• B.E/B. Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Computers, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Proven expertise in software programming and design using C, C++, or Ada.
• Deep knowledge of Aero Standards DO178B/C.
• Hands-on experience with AFDX and A429 interfaces.
• Proficiency with configuration management tools such as CC, CQ, DOORS, BitBucket, or JIRA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct working experience with Flight Management Systems (FMS) product lines.
• Experience with Thunderbolt Platform Adoption.
