Advanced Embedded Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the verification and validation of avionics embedded software within the aerospace domain.
• Drive common test architectures, environments, strategies, and tools.
• Utilize debuggers, simulators, and structural coverage tools such as VectorCover, LDRA, TCA, CodeTest, and TRACE 32.
• Implement and maintain deep knowledge of DO-178 B/C and its supplements.
• Explore and implement new opportunities in test methodologies and test design automation.
• Manage stakeholders and propose technical improvements to optimize engineering processes.
• Contribute to technical initiatives, including VPD ideas and RDE reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (ECE, CS, or EEE).
• 5+ years of experience in software development, systems, or software verification.
• Minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience in software verification and validation (V&V).
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Strong understanding of embedded programming and Model-Based Testing.
• Deep knowledge of DO-178 B/C design assurance guidelines and TSO certification.
• Excellent technical leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance (CNS) products.
• Background in Flight Management or Global Navigation technologies.
• Experience with Change Impact Analysis (RA, DRAT), Tool Qualification, TRR, RFS, and Certification Documentation.
• Familiarity with SOI#3 Audits.
