Advanced Embedded Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and testing of complex embedded software solutions
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the embedded software engineering team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine software requirements
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues using advanced debugging skills
• Establish and enforce rigorous testing procedures to ensure software quality and reliability
• Act as a subject matter expert and point of escalation for technical challenges
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies to integrate new tools and methodologies into the development process

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (STEM) from an accredited institution
• 5+ years of experience in the design and development of embedded software solutions
• Mastery level knowledge of programming languages, specifically C and C++
• Strong understanding of hardware and software integration

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in leading and owning complex embedded software projects
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
