Advanced Electrical Instructor

Responsibilities

• Manage the classroom for effective learning
• Utilize competency-based and computer-assigned instruction and cooperative learning techniques
• Maintain relevant lesson plans and create innovative, interactive training
• Coordinate with the academic department for integrated learning opportunities
• Assist with job placement, military, college, and post-secondary education transitions
• Develop industry partnerships for work-based learning, internships, and job placement

Requirements

• Minimum of Associate's Degree
• At least two years of related experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, professional journals, and government regulations
• Proficiency in drafting reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts including probability and statistical inference

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Certification or experience in vocational trade
• Certification by a union, trade organization, or national trade certifying organization
• Valid State Driver's License
