Advanced Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and prototype new product concepts that redefine consumer expectations
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, user experience, and manufacturing teams
• Design new technologies that transition from early-stage development to full-scale production
• Influence product roadmap with disruptive, consumer-driven ideas
• Communicate ideas using sketching, CAD layouts, 3D models, and working prototypes
• Manage external providers of technology solutions to reduce time to market

Requirements

• Degree-level technical qualification in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or Product Design Engineering
• Extensive experience in an industrial design, product design, or innovation environment
• Proven track record of concept development, prototyping, and transitioning projects into production
• Experience with High-Volume Plastic Injection Molding, Sheet Metal, and Die Casting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
