Advanced Care Provider (ACP) - Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive health assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
• Diagnose acute and chronic health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and implement therapeutic interventions
• Educate patients and families about health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
• Perform clinical skills including phlebotomy, IV insertion, and EKG
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Current NYS License as NP or PA
• 2+ years of experience as a practicing NP or PA-C
• BLS & ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to work 4 days X 10 hour shifts
• Availability to work 2 Saturdays or Sundays per month
• Flexibility with weekend coverage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or Family Medicine
