Advanced and Lead Wind Technician

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in daily tasks including cleaning, organizing, assembly, service, and repairs to wind turbine generators and blades
• Conduct pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), and Risk Assessments (RAs)
• Oversee lifting operations for large components at heights over 250’
• Perform coating and structural repairs of internal and external composite structures
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and software updates

Requirements

• 4+ years of wind turbine experience in Composites, MCE, Advanced Troubleshooting, Maintenance, or Cleaning
• GWO Certifications
• Experience reading schematics and planning complex repairs or installations
• Ability to lead crews and communicate effectively with clients
• Commitment to safety protocols and risk assessment

Preferred Qualifications

• GE LOTO Certification
• Platform specific LOTO Certification
• Certifications in tower climbing, SRK 11, or SGRE Blade Repair
