Advanced Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in test planning, integration, execution, and analysis for the Space Based Interceptor program.
• Perform pre-mission target and interceptor trajectory generation and optimization.
• Conduct quantitative safety and risk analyses to ensure compliance with Range Commanders Council safety standards.
• Lead Range Safety Working Group meetings, tracking action items, data delivery, and analysis schedules.
• Perform pre-mission telemetry link and radar assessments to ensure flight test architecture meets data collection requirements.
• Conduct collision avoidance (COLA) assessments for day-of-flight execution in coordination with the 19th Space Defense Squadron.

Requirements

• MA/MS in a pertinent field, or a BA/BS with 5 additional years of relevant experience.
• 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) organization and Missile Defense System (MDS) designs, performance, and testing.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Java, or other programming languages.
• Knowledge of RF Engineering, communication design, and processing.
• Understanding of Orbital Mechanics, Physics, and Range Commander’s Council Standards.
• Experience with DoD test processes, test support, and/or test execution.
