About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a North American stakeholder engagement strategy aligned with global aviation business vision
  • Establish executive-level relationships with customers, operators, infrastructure providers, and regulators
  • Convert market engagement into tangible outcomes such as Letters of Intent (LOIs) and strategic MoUs
  • Collaborate with the Japan-based strategy team to ensure regional activities align with global objectives
  • Provide market intelligence to inform product positioning and roadmap priorities
  • Define market hypotheses and translate them into structured pilot/POC initiatives
  • Coordinate early-stage POCs including simulations, route trials, and demand validation
  • Support internal coordination between business and engineering teams

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in aviation commercialization, business development, or strategic partnerships
  • Demonstrated success building executive-level relationships and converting engagement into commercial outcomes
  • Strong North American aviation and mobility network
  • Experience working across regions and cultures in globally coordinated programs
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity within early-stage aerospace or advanced mobility initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), Aircraft, eVTOL, or emerging aerospace markets
  • Exposure to structured financing or long-term fleet acquisition discussions
  • Familiarity with FAA certification pathways and operational frameworks (Part 91, 135, etc.)
  • Understanding of service-based or platform-oriented mobility business models
