Advance Associate

Responsibilities

• Support the Advance Manager in planning and executing campaign events statewide
• Travel ahead of events to assist with venue setup and logistics coordination
• Coordinate with local organizers, volunteers, vendors, and venue staff
• Assist with staging, signage, campaign materials, and event presentation
• Provide on-site support to ensure events run smoothly and on schedule
• Help support candidate travel logistics, movements onsite, and event-specific materials
• Troubleshoot operational issues and communicate updates to the Advance Manager

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in political campaigns, event coordination, field organizing, government, or operations
• Ability to lift and move campaign materials and event equipment up to 30–50 pounds
• Ability to travel frequently within Texas, including occasional overnight travel
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods during campaign events
