Adult Speech and Language Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment for adults with communication and swallowing disorders across acute and community settings
• Manage a varied caseload, supporting patients across different stages of their care pathway
• Work cross-site between Carlisle and Whitehaven, adapting service delivery to meet local needs
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across hospital and community services
• Maintain accurate, timely and professional clinical records in line with NHS and professional standards

Requirements

• Band 6–level experience (or above) working with adults with communication and swallowing difficulties
• Experience across acute adult settings
• HCPC registration
• Eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
