Responsibilities
- Undertake Care Act assessments and reviews
- Support MCA-compliant decision-making
- Safeguard adults at risk of abuse or neglect
- Work in a strengths-based, person-centred way
- Build strong partnerships with individuals, families, providers and health professionals to promote independence and safe living within the community
Requirements
- Recognised professional qualification in social work (MA, BA, BSc, Diploma, or CQSW)
- Registered with Social Work England
- 2+ years post qualified experience as an adult social worker in a statutory setting
- Thorough understanding of Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005
- Strong assessment and analysis skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
