Admissions Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of 7–10 Admissions Counselors, providing coaching and support to help them achieve individual goals
• Oversee and support counselors in managing pipelines and ensuring accurate record-keeping
• Conduct regular pipeline reviews to monitor progress and ensure enrollment targets are met
• Report to management on lead quality, volume, and trends affecting the team
• Score 2-3 intro calls weekly per counselor and provide constructive feedback
• Develop methods to motivate the team and professionally develop counselors through weekly 1-1 sessions
• Work with the Director and Trainer to onboard new counselors and recommend training or disciplinary actions

Requirements

• Extensive experience in admissions recruitment or high-volume student-facing sales environments
• Prior leadership or management experience with direct reports
• Demonstrated ability to coach teams toward performance goals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High emotional intelligence and ability to navigate interpersonal dynamics
• Strong analytical and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a startup or rapidly scaling environment
• Experience delivering presentations or representing a department externally
• Background in training, facilitation, or curriculum support
