About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students and families regarding admissions processes and enrollment procedures
- Review and process applications and supporting documentation in accordance with university policies
- Communicate with applicants via phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions
- Maintain accurate student records and update applicant information within university systems
- Assist with recruitment initiatives, outreach events, campus visits, and admissions presentations
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for students
- Monitor application status and follow up with applicants regarding missing documentation
- Support compliance with institutional policies, FERPA regulations, and admissions standards
- Prepare reports and assist with data tracking related to enrollment goals
Requirements
- Associate's degree or completion of a program of 18+ months after high school, or equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working with database or student information systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in higher education, admissions, recruitment, or student services
- Familiarity with Campus Solutions, CRM systems, or student enrollment platforms
- Knowledge of admissions processes and student engagement best practices
