About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist prospective students and their families through the enrollment process.
- Manage and coordinate specific geographic recruitment areas in Ohio and out-of-state.
- Evaluate high schools and college programs to identify optimal recruitment opportunities.
- Develop innovative communication strategies for prospective students and guidance personnel via direct mail, campus visits, or technology.
- Assist with campus visit programs and conduct on-campus admission interviews.
- Review completed applications to make admission decisions and determine scholarship awards.
- Maintain knowledge of financial aid policies, including Federal, State, and Institutional aid and the FAFSA.
- Counsel prospective students regarding admission requirements and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel extensively during the fall and spring months.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or as needed.
- Authorized to work in the United States (sponsorship is not provided).
- Ability to work unsupervised and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in admissions is preferred but not required.
