About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist prospective transfer, graduate, and military-connected students with enrollment and specialized resources.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local military and veteran organizations such as Amvets, American Legion, and VFW.
  • Recruit military-connected students through vocational rehabilitation and rapid retraining strategies, focusing on micro-credentialing and certificates.
  • Provide career coaching, advising, and planning as part of the enrollment process to maximize student matriculation.
  • Communicate with prospective students, parents, and the community via appointments, phone calls, emails, and virtual presentations.
  • Coordinate with campus leadership to welcome prospective students and conduct campus tours.
  • Maintain recruiting operations at military installations, community colleges, and high schools.
  • Assist students and families with the submission of military-benefit applications and provide ongoing support throughout the application process.
  • Manage recruiting data and documentation for institutional research and effectiveness reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Military service experience.
  • Professional experience in student recruitment, university admissions, public relations, marketing, sales, or communications.
  • Proficiency with database systems and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage planning, decision-making, and administrative tasks.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
