Admissions Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Recruit freshmen by managing geographic territories and performing presentations at schools and college fairs
• Provide educational counseling and advising to prospective undergraduate and graduate students and their families
• Guide prospective students through the application process from initial inquiry to enrollment
• Manage the student ambassador program, including training, supervision, and visit scheduling
• Conduct virtual recruitment presentations and events
• Maintain contact with prospective students and coordinate with faculty members
• Manage administrative tasks including travel scheduling and data entry in electronic databases
• Run regular and ad hoc reports under the direction of the Director of Admissions
• Participate in campus recruitment activities such as Open Houses, Admitted Student Days, and Summer Institutes

Requirements

• Associate degree
• Strong planning and communication skills (oral and written)
• Excellent public speaking skills
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office
• Valid, unrestricted state driver's license
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, including extensive overnight travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the admissions process
• Proficiency in a foreign language other than English
• Proficiency in relational databases
• Experience in enrollment management, sales, or marketing
