Admissions Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in formal on-campus and off-campus recruitment events, including high school presentations, college fairs, and STEM/Aviation events.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with multicultural student sources, such as high schools and community-based organizations.
• Explain admission requirements, enrollment procedures, and academic programs to prospective students and parents.
• Provide campus tours and maintain consistent follow-up contact with prospective students.
• Collaborate with campus leadership to plan and implement effective recruitment strategies.
• Monitor application progress and audit student records to ensure accuracy and completion of materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships throughout assigned recruitment territories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• One year of professional experience in a related field (e.g., customer service, K-12/higher education, or sales).
• Experience utilizing CRM systems, specifically Slate.
• Ability to travel for recruitment events and work extended hours or weekends as needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for presenting in both traditional and virtual settings.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Experience in higher education recruitment or strategic enrollment planning.
• Background working with transfer student populations.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
