Admissions Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate a team of admissions coordinators to foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
• Manage daily admissions operations, including application processing, enrollment deposits, and decision workflows.
• Oversee admissions and interview programs, including the development of training materials for faculty and student interviewers.
• Lead the planning and execution of recruitment events, such as open houses, admitted student days, and dental school tours.
• Prepare and deliver data reports and summaries to support forecasting and strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate orientation programs and transition initiatives for incoming students.
• Manage admissions systems and platforms, including WebAdMIT, Banner, and Axium.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of five years of experience in graduate program or student services management.
• Proven supervisory experience managing professional staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word).
• Experience working with university student information systems.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding university admissions and FERPA compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a health professions program.
• Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
• Ability to integrate culturally responsive practices into admissions work.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
